Just a quick announcement...
There has been at least three (3) reported positive student cases of COVID-19 at Anna Strong Learning Academy. The district has implemented the necessary safety precautions to reduce the spread of the virus within the schools. The students who tested positive are not at the school because they have been quarantined at home. You will be contacted directly, if your child has possibly been exposed. However, since this district has mandated the requirement for "mask wearing" in all locations in the district, and the majority of the staff has been vaccinated. Please do not be alarmed, or come out to the school to pick up your student. Learning is taking place!
If you do have some concerns, please get your child tested as soon as possible, if they have been exposed; especially if they are too young to be vaccinated, have not been vaccinated, and/or have come in close contact with the affected students, without a mask, outside of school. Thanks for your patience. We are in this together and we are doing are best to keep your child safe. Please consider getting a vaccine in the meantime...Safety is a priority! "Stop the Hesitation...Please get the Vaccination!" Thank you. Have a Meaningful Monday! Supt. Murdock
