Get Ready Lee County! The school district will have it's annual back to school registration day on June 12, 2023 at Lee High School from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. New students will need shot records, birth certificate, social security card and current proof of address. For Pre-K students, additional information is required (proof of income and current physical). Information and shot records for students returning will only need to be updated. This day will be filled with fun activities for kids and parents to enjoy while you register or update. Hello Lee County Families, High school parents can pick up report cards at the high school on Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Summer hours for offices is 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. We are proud of both our OM teams! They went to the state competition and represented Lee County School District well. The ASLA OM team will once again go to the World competition. They placed 2nd place this weekend securing their spot in the World Competition at Michigan State University in May! Hello parents, Tomorrow, April 1, 2023 LCSD will host a Sneaker Ball. The ball will be held at the Marianna Civic Center. This event is exclusive only to working staff and participating students; therefore, you will not be allowed to go inside! We promise to share pictures. Good morning LCSD, I hope you had a fantastic spring break. We are recharged and ready to finish the year out strong. Here are a few things you need to know: 1- We will begin state testing in April. We need your help with sending students to school each day on time for breakfast. Good Afternoon LCSD, I need communicate couple of things. 1. There is a mistake on our school calendar. Our nine weeks will end on March 10, 2023; therefore report cards will not go out until after that date. 2. The national weather service is predicting heavy thunderstorms beginning at about 6:00 p.m. For the safety of all students and staff, we will dismiss after-school tutoring today at 5:00 p.m. Superintendent Stone

Hello LCSD, Due to the decline in Covid-19 cases, masks will be optional effective March 1, 2023. We will continue to work with our state and local health departments to determine any potential threats. We will keep masks on hand to use for future need or if anyone wants to continue the use of them. Good Morning Trojan Fans, Sportsmanship is an important life skill that Lee County School District instills in athletes. I realize that there are a lot of emotions that are felt when games are highly intense, but we have to display good sportsmanship! Our athletes are the most important individuals during games. Fans should have good sportsmanship during the games at all times. Fans should not curse, heckle or yell at the referees. This type of behavior will not only embarrass the Lee County School District and community, but you will be removed from the games embarrassing the athletes who you are there to support. Fans are welcome to attend games but please show good sportsmanship at all times! Superintendent Stone

Good morning LCSD, Thursday, February 9, 2023 is Parent/Teacher Conferences beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Schools will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. There will be no after-school program as teachers will be engaged meeting with parents for conferences. Good afternoon LCSD, The make-up dates for the recent inclement weather will be: May 30th, May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd. I realize there has been some discussion about this Friday as a make-up day. We cannot change the calendar without board approval; therefore, we will follow the current approved calendar. Good evening LCSD, The Junior High Regionals are being played in Carlisle, AR. The Jr. Lady Trojans defeated Kipp Delta in the 1st round and will be moving forward in the tournament. Come out and support them on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Their next match is against CARLISLE! The Jr. Boys will begin tournament play on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 5:15.

Hello Lee County School District, This is an update! After assessing the county roads this evening, it is determined that it is unsafe for travel due to many secondary roads refreezing. Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of all students and staff, the Lee County School District will be closed Friday, February 3, 2023. Temperatures are expected to rise enough tomorrow and the following days and should help the ice melt completely. Superintendent Stone

Hello Lee County School District, The Lee County School District will return to normal operations on Friday, February 3, 2023. All offices will be open. The basketball teams will play at Barton tomorrow night, and the home games versus Kipp was rescheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2023. Senior recognitions will begin at 11:30 a.m. with tip-off at noon. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding over the past few days.
