Staff will report to their work sites for the day. Students will return on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the regularly schedule time. Please note that this is the primary method for communication for the district. Any inclement weather announcements will also primarily be sent using text. Good afternoon LCSD Staff! It’s that time of year again…”Time for Mighty Trojans Basketball!” Admittance to all home games is free to staff members! However, one must be a full-time contracted employee of the district. No family members can be admitted for free unless they have a AAA pass! Only two people can be admitted with a Current AAA pass and ID maybe required. See you at the games! GO TROJANS! Supt. Murdock.

Good afternoon LCSD Trojan Fans! Please read the following announcements: School will be dismissed today at its regularly scheduled time today….3:00 pm. Here are the upcoming afternoon events… The Trojans Parade will begin at 3:30 pm; with the line up at Kids for the Future at 3:15 pm. The route will be on Main Street to the old post office and make a left onto Church Street and then right onto Chestnut Street….Another right onto Poplar…then end up on Mississippi Street as usual. Please be mindful of the caution tape displayed on Main and Poplar. Please do not attempt to go on the street near the falling building… The Trojans Tailgate is at 5:30pm at the Football Stadium. First game at 6:00pm -JR High Presentation of Court at 7:00pm Second game at 7:30pm-SR High Tickets are $5 at the gate. Please bring a towel, blanket, and dress warm and comfortable. It will be a chilly night for Trojan Football. See ya at the Homecoming Games! Go Trojans Go!! Supt. Murdock

Your attendance to this informative meeting is greatly appreciated. LCSD is also hosting its first Parent/Teacher Conference of the 21-22 school year on this Thursday, October 21st from 3-8 pm at both schools. School will dismiss at 2 pm for the day. Announcements: LCSD would like for you to participate with us tomorrow, Friday, October 15, 2021 as we “Wear Pink” on “National Mammography Day!” We are wearing pink in honor of “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” and in honor of our friends, colleagues, and loved ones who are battling or have succumbed to Breast Cancer.
