
Hello LCSD!
Today is Open House. ASLA is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and LHS is from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reminder: Students return to school Monday, July 25, 2022. We are expecting all students to be present and ready to learn. Due to the rise in COVID numbers, all staff and students are required to wear a mask. We will monitor the situation and follow guidance from the Arkansas Department of Health and CDC.

We are getting closer and closer to the start of school. School begins for students on Monday July 25, 2022! We are ready to receive students and excited about the start of school. We expect to see all of our students ready to learn.
Open house is on Friday, July 22, 2022 at ASLA and LHS. The events begin at 1:00 pm at ASLA and 2:30 pm at LHS. The Men of Action will be providing free book bags and school supplies (ASLA). I will be greeting you as you enter. DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT!

It has been brought to my attention that some students have not returned their “district-issued” Chrome book. Chrome books should returned immediately. Chrome books are property of the school district. Again, they should be returned immediately! Students who do not return school property will have to pay for the equipment and will not be able to register for the 22-23 school year until it is either returned or paid for.

I am officially announcing my resignation as Superintendent of the Lee County School District(LCSD); effective June 30, 2022.
I will be taking a position as the Director of the Great Rivers Educational Service Cooperative, Helena-West Helena, AR.
The new superintendent to lead LCSD will be Mr. Micheal Stone; a graduate of Lee High School and who currently is employed by the North Little Rock School District.
Please support him as he leads with knowledge and fervor!

Reminder: Today, Thursday, May 26, 2022, is the last day of school for the students at ASLA. School will be dismissed at 11:30AM. Tomorrow, Friday, May 27th, will be the last day of school for LHS students. School will be dismissed at 11:30AM. LHS Graduation will begin at 7:00PM, at James Coleman Football Stadium tomorrow evening, May 27th!

Good evening LCSD!
Today, Monday, May 23rd, began the last week for students for the 21-22 school year. Anna Strong Learning Academy students, will end with a make up day (1/2 day) on Thursday, May 26th. Lee High School students, will end the school year with a make up 1/2 day on Friday, May 27th. School will dismiss at 11:30 for students on both days. School will begin three (3) weeks earlier next school term. First day of school for 22-23 will be Monday, July 25, 2022.

Please come out and enjoy the LHS “Parking Lot Party/Spring Fling for the Trojan Team,” starting at 1pm tomorrow and ending around 4pm; a huge block party to celebrate the success of our Trojan Basketball Team!
